The care project of Cooperativa Sociale Arcobaleno focuses on addressing the needs of social interaction, work, and daily life management for individuals experiencing various forms of fragility and social distress.
The
Cooperative, in collaboration with local social and health services, is committed to supporting and promoting the well-being of individuals, offering various workshop courses in functional connection with the production aspect.
Artistic ceramics and mosaic
In this workshop, individuals can actively experiment with various techniques related to the crafting of artistic ceramics in all its stages (moulding, drying, firing, and decoration) under the expert guidance of ceramicists trained at the Faenza school and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Ceramics become an educational tool for expressing creativity and engaging with specific times, materials, and techniques. Each participant can contribute based on their skills, working together with everyone else to create the finished product.
Wefts and Embroidery
This space is dedicated to the art of embroidery and weaving, an ancient tradition that is renewed here with creativity and passion. Through this path it is possible to immerse oneself in the world of sewing , knitting and embroidery , and create various textile productions such as bags, hats, caps, scarves, blankets and custom projects. It is also possible to experiment with weaving with a frame loom.
The “trame e ricami” laboratory is always open to new ideas and lends itself to intergenerational and socially-related projects.
Assemblies and
packaging
This activity involves people who benefit from repetition and a strong structuring of work sequences. Cooperativa Arcobaleno works on behalf of third parties to carry out various assemblies. Among our partners are: Roto Srl, Cooperativa Sociale Pictor, and Associazione CEFA.
Catering and
Fresh Pasta
The courses take place in the spaces of the
Oasi la Rizza Restaurant and mainly concern
preparations for the kitchen , the
production of fresh pasta, bread making and biscuits. It is also possible to acquire basic skills in dining room service and actively experiment during lunches and events. This experience allows a first approach to the world of catering through personalized courses based on each person's resources.
Ostello B&B
The Ostello B&B Oasi la Rizza accommodation facility offers the opportunity to gain your first experience in the world of hospitality, taking care of tasks such as tidying up and cleaning, organising the common room, and preparing breakfasts for guests.
Green maintenance and horticulture
The maintenance activities of the Oasis focus on the hygienic protection of the greenery, the collection of leaves, the cleaning of weeds, and the care of animals. Next to the restaurant, there is a vegetable garden consisting of open field crops and crops in large ergonomic wooden boxes.
This space is not only a vegetable production area but also an educational workshop where you can learn to grow vegetables and aromatic herbs, following the principles of organic farming.
The harvested products enrich the restaurant's dishes, creating a direct connection between the land and the table.

Social learning paths
located in a work context
For individuals under the care of
Social Services for Disability, Arcobaleno offers paths in the
Social Occupational Centre. The goal of the service is to promote personal autonomy and active participation in the social life of people with disabilities through productive activities, tailored to each individual's skills and abilities, in a protected work environment with the support of educators and operators experienced in various tasks (such as artistic ceramics production, textile production on the loom, assembly work, and third-party processing). Each customised project is activated in agreement with the referring services, the user, and, where appropriate, with the family.
Objectives:
Offer qualified assistance to each individual user through targeted and personalised interventions aimed at improving autonomy and abilities (practical, cognitive, relational), contributing to psychological well-being and self-esteem.
- Define and update personalised intervention projects that ensure continuous monitoring of users' socio-educational and rehabilitative progress.
- Strive for optimal levels of well-being, aiming to preserve and, where possible, develop users' remaining abilities.
- Ensure qualified interventions for users by providing continuous training to support motivation and re-evaluate professional skills.
- Offer interventions that enhance local associative realities and guarantee a variety of experiences and activity planning dedicated to users.
